The Good Old Days

(I received the following in an e-mail from my brother-in-law. It's interesting to see how values have changed in about only 70 years.) - Thanks, Don.
From the comments, it appears most everyone could NOT see the images. I did a screen shot for the post. If you cannot see the images, scroll down and I have posted them as individual pic images.

Oh, the good old days...

Here are some ads from the 1930's

THEY'RE A RIOT....

MAKE SURE YOU CHECK OUT LYSOL AD AND THE DIETING REMEDY!

Okay everyone, let's all go on the tapeworm diet!

Have A Great Day

The above images may not appear on certain browsers, maybe Internet Explorer for example. If you cannot see the above images, I have posted them below as individual pic images. Click on the images to enlarge.

Speaking of tapeworms:

Dude goes to his doctor and is diagnosed with a tapeworm. Doctor sends him to a specialist, who instructs the patient to bring an egg and a cookie to their first session. The patient does so, and is nonplussed when the doctor shoves the egg, followed by the cookie, up the dude's butt. The doctor tells him to bring an egg and cookie to the next five sessions, where the procedure is repeated.

At the end *toing* of the sixth procedure, the doctor tells the patient to bring an egg and a hammer to the next session.

After getting the egg inserted, the patient is a bit disconcerted to see the doctor standing behind him, holding the hammer, when all of a sudden, the tapeworm pops out of his ass:

TW: Hey, where's my cookie?
Doctor: *with hammer* BWANG!

Bwaaaaa. The ad didn't show up on my screen.

Thankfully, neither did a tapeworm. Which is just as well, since I did not have a hammer handy.

ROTFLMAO

No ads show up for me either, but Skunkfeathers made me laugh out loud.

Sorry folks,

I posted that e-mail from a screen shot. That might be the problem. I have Firefox as my browser and can see the images fine. I remember pics not opening when I used to use Internet Explorer.

Anyway, I re-posted the ads at the end of the original as individual images.

Jack, Sandee and Serena I sent an e-mail to you re: the images.
Christina, I noted this on a comment at your last post. Skunk, I assume you could see the images.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I finally got to see the ads here. I reckon my system was just a little too tired to comply, or I was not sufficiently patient.

btw, I do use Firefox.

Jack,

Funny, but today the ads in the orignal part of the post don't appear on MY screen. Go figure.
