There Are Horrors and There Are Horrors
The above picture appeared and served as the headline for the Boston Herald on Friday 10/10, the day after Thursday's massive sell-off sent the Dow Jones Industrial Average plummeting.
The woman superimposed against the headline is actress Jennifer Carpenter whose movie "Quarantine" was opening in theaters across the country.
Today, 10/13, the Dow Jones rebounded and soared upward 936 points!
(Above) By recycling the photo and cropping it some for the Tuesday edition, it appears that our heroine is still horrified by the market's results. Why? Well, it seems she decided to try some Day Trading. Thinking she was going to make a killing in a Bear Market, she sold short!
Let's face it, in life there are far greater horrors out there in the world!
What's worse than losing money in the stock market?
Especially for a woman, what can be a worse horror than the following?
What could be a worse horror than coming home and catching your husband in the act?
A woman's worst horror of all? You have finally decided the time is right for you and your man to become sexually intimate ...
Perhaps I should have saved this and posted it on Halloween night?
