What if they gave a debate deep in the woods and nobody was there to hear what they said, would they say anything of interest?
That's what a lot of people are asking about the last McCain-Obama debate. Chances are they'll be asking the same questions after tonight's debate.
Thanks to the following, which I lifted from Phils Phun, I learned that the Japanese have affected more than I would have imagined:
Jap Banks in Trouble Too
It just gets worse. Uncertainty has now hit the Japanese banking sector:
In the last 7 days Origami Bank has folded.
Sumo Bank has gone belly up.
Bonsai Bank announced plans to cut some branches.
Karaoke Bank is up for sale and will likely go for a song, while today shares in Kamikaze Bank were suspended after they nose-dived.
Samurai Bank has had to cut its staff in half.
Ninja Bank is reported to have taken a hit, but they remain in the black.
Furthermore, 500 staff at Karate Bank got the chop, and analysts report that there is something fishy going on at Sushi Bank where it is feared that staff may get a raw deal!
...And be sure to "bear" in mind:

How the bailout works:
1. Congress and Dubya pass the bailout
2. Taxpayer money goes into the system
3. AIG execs treat themselves to a $400,000 retreat for their "good work"
4 The taxpayers get screwed...again, and again, and again...
5. The Democrats pat themselves on the back for "saving" the economy

What skunkfeathers said. Right on the money. Thanks for the laughs and the tears. Have a great day. :)
Skunk,
Good job of explaining that. I was getting confused as to how it's suppose to work. Thanks for the clarification.
Sandee,
You're welcome. I'll be over directly to get a helping of laughs from your site.
