Flagged, Bagged and Tagged

Schnoodlepooh (Peg) tagged me when I wasn't looking. At least she didn't just single me out. She also tagged two others. It was a three bagger!

She listed twenty things about herself. I take it that means I have to come up with twenty things about myself. Since I am so simple and nondescript, this is going to prove to a be a rather onerous task. I have decided to try to come up with twenty things that may not have been revealed so far in the previous 378 postings.

Well, here goes:

1) This is my 379th posting.
2) Barbie Benton was my first celebrity "crush"
3) "The Crawling Eye" (1958) was the only movie I ever walked out on because I was scared.
4) I threw a tomato at JFK when he was campaigning
5) I sucked my thumb until I was 6-years-old
6) As a kid I had an "Opie Moment" and killed a mother bird and cried when I saw she had chicks in the nest.
7) Catherine Zeta-Jones is my current celebrity "Crush"
8) My first "date" was to see "Old Yeller" - I cried, she didn't.
9) The first record I ever bought was "Last Kiss"
10) I once put a goldfish in water bottle at work. When one woman who had been drinking from it saw the fish, I told her there was three fish in it earlier. She got sick and went home. I always regretted that. From that day on, she brought her own water to work.
11) The last movie that I saw at a theater was "Raiders of the Lost Ark."
12) The song my daughter and I danced to at her wedding was "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" by the Tokens.
13) I once slipped a Hustler magazine into a Nun's shopping cart.
14) My worst subject in High School was math. I ended up in Accounting and worked in the Stock Market and was a Money Manager.
15) I hate peas, spinach, broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, and asparagus.
16) Before it was electronic, we were a Nielson Rating family and we "lied" about what we were watching.
17) I always lie at exit polls on Election days.
18) Of celebrities that I have actually met, the biggest jerk was Frankie Avalon.
19) Of celebrities I have actually met, the nicest was Marvelous Marvin Hagler.
20) As a write-in, I actually voted for Pat Paulsen one time.
21) One of these is actually not true, can anybody guess which one?
There you go, twenty things about me. It wasn't easy trying to come up with that many that have not been mentioned in any of my blogs at one time or another. Thanks for the challenge, Schnood. Maybe she should come up with 20 things that can't be found in the postings. Maybe some of you others could take up the challenge?

Everybody who is anybody has already seen the water cooler/breasts cartoon on my site.

Speaking of which, the lie in your 20 is the one about the goldfish. If you want to know how I know this, please send me your first-born child.

Who's Barbie Benton? I can't believe I've never heard of her. I'll have to do a google on her.

I loved the Crawling Eye! It's awesome! We used to watch it in the 70s on Creature Feature on Saturday mornings. It usually aired at least once a year.

Why don't you go to movie theatres anymore? DVDs instead?

Saur,Who's Barbie Benton? A Playboy Bunny - a one-time Hefner Favorite. Starred on Hee-Haw! Hubba hubba! What A woman!
...The movies come out so soon on DVD after their theater runs that I just wait and watch them at home and not have to spend $20 a person!
Yup, I'm cheap!

I see Schnoodlepooh got you too! I finally came up with mine- come see if you get a chance.

These are good ones! I identify with #17 except that I always exit at the lyin' poles. ;)

I don't believe #15. No one can hate that many vegetables!

Came back to guess it was #4 you lied about. Seems you would have rather thrown any of the other vegetables listed in #15.

I don't even know you, but I think you lied about # 20. Who would write in Pat Paulson? I know he was running but, Pat Paulson? Nooo. Barbie Benton is a beautiful woman and so is Cathrine Zeta Jones. The last five or so years we have just waited for the DVDs to come out and watch them at home. My husband has a bad back and he hates the seats in theaters.

Sorry Lucy, but I did in fact vote for Pat Paulsen one year.

I'm afraid it's true, Schnood. It goes back to when I was a kid when we were forced to clean or plates or sit at the table until we did and we would also get a lash an hour from a hickory switch. To this day I won't eat those and cauliflower which was left off the list.

Sorry Carolyn I threw a tomato - but I missed. In the late 50s and through the 60s the Kennedys were detested in West Virginia. He had a lot of nerve just to show up and campaign there.
